We’ve known Tony for as long as we can remember. He is a client and a friend. Tony is straight-talking, friendly, honest and open. Recently we sat down with Tony to find out more about his remarkable career and to get an update on his exciting new business venture.

Tony’s professional journey began at the University of Queensland where he obtained his Law Degree. Tony then worked as an Associate under Judge Bernard McLoughlin and later with Henderson Trout Lawyers and Carter & Spencer Group, the latter for 18 years.

In more recent times, Tony has sat on the Board of organisations, including Australian Chamber of Wholesalers, Brismark Limited, Gladstone Ports Corporation and, perhaps the most high profile, Brisbane Lions AFL Club for 12 years, including five as Chairman.

These days Tony still keeps himself busier than most as Managing Director of his own consultancy firm and as a franchisee of First Class Capital, a specialist small business finance provider. Tony continues to sit on the Board of Brisbane Markets Limited, an organisation that he has been closely affiliated with for many years. Tony is also a Director of local IT consulting firm Veracity IT Solutions.

If all of that wasn’t enough, Tony has also recently established Tony Kelly Travel. A testament to Tony’s love of cruising, Tony Kelly Travel is a boutique travel agency that specialises in ocean and river cruising, as well as more adventurous expedition cruises to destinations such as Antarctica and the Galapagos Islands.

With over 100 days cruising under his belt coupled with the in depth research he conducts, Tony certainly knows his stuff. He prides himself on offering a high quality, transparent and bespoke service to his clients.
