On Wednesday 1 April 2020, we hosted our webinar, “Seeking Safe Passage: Personal Financial Strategies for Times of Crisis” where Dr Michael E. Drew and Richard Marsden shared their expertise, thoughts and views on what investors and retirees are facing in the unfolding crises triggered by the global Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

In the first half of the webinar, Dr Michael Drew gave an insight into the public health, economic and investment dimensions of the current environment. He also discussed important considerations for investors as they seek to build their personal balance sheets with purpose.

In the second half of the webinar, Richard Marsden explored the importance of life stage and financial modelling in building an investment strategy. He also outlined eight key portfolio strategies to consider in the midst of uncertain times, and discussed the importance of estate planning and personal insurance.
