Earlier this month, the Rural Doctors Association of Queensland (RDAQ) hosted their 33rd annual conference, ‘Medicine in the Extreme’. The conference took place over three days at the Cairns Convention Centre in Cairns City. The event delivered a program to empower, energise, and educate through informative, interactive, and thought-provoking sessions, discussions, and forums.

On day one, Andrew Albury and Richard Marsden delivered a session on getting ahead financially during challenging times and protecting against unforeseen events. During their session, they offered proven strategies for success leading up to retirement and how to effectively position your personal balance sheet to achieve the post-employment lifestyle you have worked so hard for, including how to structure insurance protection. Andrew and Richard also participated as trade exhibitors, spending time over the three days networking with several industry professionals.
