On Tuesday 14 March, in collaboration with IPAA Queensland, MGD hosted the public purpose sector for a breakfast event on behavioural science and economics.

We welcomed Dr Ryan Murphy, Global Head of Behavioural Insights at Morningstar, a world-leading provider of independent investment research. Dr Murphy’s extensive experience in interdisciplinary behavioural science and economics made this a key event for public purpose leaders interested in learning more about their own decision-making habits and biases and the implications of this subject matter when designing policies for our communities.

The event included closing remarks from our Chief Executive Officer, John Barton, who holds professional knowledge in behavioural economics and psychology, adding a unique perspective to the discussion.
