Mr Albury has been announced as one of nine finalists in the SMSF Adviser of the Year category of the awards program, hosted by SMSF Adviser, an Australian publication for SMSF professionals.
The inaugural SMSF and Accounting Awards recognises individuals and businesses that are making their mark in SMSF and accounting advice by championing professionalism, quality advice and innovation.
MGD Director and CEO, John Barton, said the nomination is a true reflection of Andrew’s dedication, professionalism and focus in providing first-rate advice for his clients.
“That Andrew has been recognised for his ongoing contribution to the sector is a testament to his drive to go above and beyond for his clients and to our firm’s vision of growth, expertise and our ability to offer high quality advice to our clients,” Mr Barton said.
“On behalf of MGD, I would like to congratulate Andrew and all other finalists on this excellent and well-earned achievement.”
In his role as Wealth Management Director, Andrew provides well-thought out, holistic advice to his clients with a particular focus on strategy, compliance and administration surrounding SMSFs. Andrew is regularly called upon by CPA Australia to share his expertise at conferences and seminars nationwide.
Manager Editor of SMSF and Accounting, Katarina Taurian, said that the winners “represent a cross-section of this state’s outstanding professional talent, pointing to an absolute dedication to delivering specialist, unique advice to a burgeoning client base.”
“Some top-performing firms and professionals are focused on doing business in their home states and locales, and we are excited to acknowledge the unique excellence and expertise they are bringing to their client base,” she said.
Winners will be announced at a gala dinner at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre on 26 October 2017.
